Nest of Love

Here the wind sings

Partner has set up a residential care unit along with vocational training facilities for these mentally challenged children who are left to deal with an unjust world after 18 years of schooling.

The project was initiated in 2006. The facilities were developed to accommodate 30 children with intellectual and developmental disability on a long term basis. The complex is divided into 2 segments intended for boys and girls to live their lives happily amidst love and care. The children are not only looked after by lady caregivers day and night, but the facility is constantly supervised by the parents. The inmates are provided with the essential facilities such as specially designed rooms, furniture and amusements to fulfill their needs. These children here are not only showered with love and affection but are also taught to develop institutional qualities and vocational abilities to face the world with their own rights and opportunities.
